The Princes’ Islands are a group of islands in the Sea of Marmara, famous for their car-free lifestyle, charming wooden houses, and tranquil streets. Most tours visit Büyükada, the largest and most famous island, or Heybeliada, depending on the program.

This group of islands takes their name from Roman times when the princes were sent there on exile. It is also known as pleasure realm of Byzantine dynasty youngsters. There are 9 islands with a different size. No car is permitted and transport is provided by horse-drawn carriages. On the islands there are many glorious mansions with characteristic overhanging balconies and most of which are inhabited only during the summer. Area is an awsome place both for swimming and for relaxing in the forest in the sound of silence.
