Begin your journey from Cappadocia to Kahta, visiting the historic Karatayhan Caravanserai and enjoying scenic stops along the way. Stay overnight near Mount Nemrut. On Day 2, witness a breathtaking sunrise at the summit of Mount Nemrut, surrounded by colossal ancient statues. Explore Harran before heading to Şanlıurfa. On the final day, visit Birecik, home to the rare Bald Ibis birds. After lunch, travel through the Taurus Mountains before returning to Cappadocia.
Cappadocia - Nemrut Mountain-Arrival Day We will meet you at your hotel in the morning and set off en route for Kahta. Passing Kayseri City on the way, the 13th century Seljuk Caravanserai "Karatayhan" will be visited. The next stop is Pinarbasi for a short tea break. After taking pictures of the gorgeous scenery of Tekir Valley the drive to Kahta will continue. Check-in to hotel on the slopes of the Nemrut Mountain. Overnight at Nemrut Mountain.
Nemrut Harran A very early departure in order to view the sunrise at the summit of Mount Nemrut. Drive by car as far as the road will allow after which we will commence our climb of approximately 25 minutes to the summit. Upon arrival, we will watch the beautiful sunrise between the colossal size statues and heads of the kings and Gods.
Sanliurfa Cappadocia - End of Tour After breakfast, we depart from Sanliurfa to Birecik, which is known for its Bald Ibis (Kelaynak) birds. These birds live only in Birecik and there is a very limited population remaining today. Visit the breeding farm of Bald Ibis birds. After lunch, drive up to the Taurus Mountains. After a short tea break, we will drive back to Cappadocia.
