Itinerary

Day 1 Fethiye > Butterfly Valley > Blue Lagoon

Guests will arrive at the Fethiye harbor at 10:00 am for check-in and information. Once settled aboard, you will depart Fethiye harbor and sail to Butterfly Valley for swimming, lunch, and an optional hike up to the waterfall. Butterfly Valley is home to over 136 different butterflies and moths; however, they can be challenging to spot in the summer months.

Afterward, we will head to Blue Lagoon (Oludeniz), one of the world's most photographed beaches. The Blue Lagoon dazzles with its calm, turquoise waters and white sandy shoreline. Perfect for swimming, relaxing, or simply taking in the breathtaking scenery.

Optional Activity: Paragliding Blue Lagoon
Fly tandem with a professional pilot from Babadag Mountain to Blue Lagoon, 2,000+ meters high - 30 to 45 minutes in the air, and enjoy breathtaking views of Oludeniz’s world-famous Blue Lagoon. With nearly 20,000 jumps yearly, it’s one of the Top paragliding spots in the world. Paragliding must be booked in advance of the cruise.

Tonight, your gulet will anchor at the stunning St. Nicholas Island, one of the true highlights of your Sail Turkey gulet cruise and famed for offering one of the most spectacular sunsets in Turkey. As the sun sets behind the mountains and bathes the sea in golden light, you can wander through the island’s atmospheric ruins, ancient stone chapelshouses, and pathways tucked beneath the pine trees. A gentle hike to the summit reveals the remains of a Byzantine amphitheatre, where the sweeping views of the Mediterranean provide the perfect backdrop to this magical moment. With its blend of history, breathtaking scenery, and peaceful charm, St. Nicholas Island (also known as Gemiler Island) is an unforgettable stop that captures the spirit of Turkey’s Turquoise Coast.

Day 2 St Nicholas Island > Kas

On your second day of gulet cruise from Fethiye to Olympos, we’ll begin the day with an early sail to Aquarium Bay, famed for its crystal-clear waters and unspoiled natural beauty. It’s the perfect spot for a refreshing morning swim in the calm Mediterranean.

Next, we continue to Hidayet Bay, a fantastic location for those who’d like to try scuba diving. The region around Kas is considered one of the very best diving areas in Turkey, thanks to its excellent visibility, fascinating marine life, and historic underwater remains.

Optional Tour – Diving in Kas
For those wishing to dive deeper into the experience, Kas offers more than 40 dive sites, each with its own unique character. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced diver, it’s a truly unforgettable way to explore the underwater world of the Turquoise Coast. Pre-booking is essential to secure your spot.

Next, we’ll sail to Kas, a historic town with roots in Lycian, Roman, and Ottoman cultures, which has evolved from a fishing village to a charming small town. Its picturesque harbour and 2,400-year-old marble streets make it a delight to explore. Kas is famous for its jewelry shops and artisan shops. Wander through the city, browse its boutiques, or check out the beaches.

In the evening, after two to three hours exploring Kas, we’ll cruise along the Kekova coastline and drop anchor in Kocakari Bay, a peaceful spot to enjoy dinner and spend the night surrounded by nature.

Day 3 Sunken City > Simena Castle

After a peaceful breakfast at anchor in Kocakari Bay, we set course for the fascinating Sunken City of Kekova on your Blue Cruise Turkey experience.

Sunken City is an underwater ancient city, once a thriving Lycian settlement. This 2,400-year-old site slipped beneath the sea after a series of earthquakes between the 2nd and 8th centuries. Today, its half-submerged ruins, ancient stairways, harbour walls, and stone foundations can still be glimpsed just below the surface, framed by the brilliant turquoise waters of the bay.

Our next stop is the enchanting village of Kalekoy (ancient Simena). Accessible only by boat or on foot, the village is home to fewer than 50 houses, making it one of the most charming corners of the Mediterranean. Along the shoreline, you’ll see Lycian sarcophagi standing directly in the water, some close enough to swim beside. A gentle climb through bougainvillaea-draped lanes brings you to the hilltop Simena Castlewith unbeatable views stretching across the Kekova archipelago. Before returning to the harbour, treat yourself to a taste of the village’s famous homemade ice cream; fig and peach are the local favourites.

As the afternoon draws to a close, we cruise to Gokkaya Bay, a sheltered haven surrounded by pine-clad hills and dotted with small islets. It’s the perfect place for a late swim, snorkel, or simply relaxing on deck. Optional water sports are also available through local providers for those seeking a little adventure. Dinner will be served on board as the sun sets over this tranquil anchorage. Gokkaya Bay offers various water sports, available through local providers.

Smugglers Inn Island Bar
For those who’d like to extend the evening, Gokkaya is also the gateway to the lively Smugglers Inn Bar, a rustic open-air bar on a nearby island that can only be reached by boat. With a relaxed, bohemian atmosphere, music under the stars, and fellow sailors gathered from across the bay, it offers a memorable end to your day on Turkey’s Turquoise Coast.

Day 4 Gokkaya Bay > Demre Harbour

Your last day on the boat will be an excellent and lazy start. Resting off sore heads from partying the night before, you wake up and have time for a morning swim. After breakfast, you will return to Cayagzi Harbour to arrive before lunch at 10:30/11:00 am to disembark the boat. It is time to farewell newfound friends and your friendly crew. Lunch is not included on the last day.

Shuttle to Demre bus station Olympos:
We will meet you at Demre Cayagzi Harbor by bus to transfer you to either Olympos (a 2-hour drive), where you can find friendly treehouse hotels, or the Demre bus station (a 10-minute drive). Please note: if not enough people travel to Olympos, we will transfer you to a public bus instead of a shuttle bus.

Departing to Antalya, Kas, Fethiye, or other destinations:
If you plan to travel to other destinations, you can be dropped off at the Demre bus station. Buses to Antalya and Kas depart every 30 minutes, while buses to Fethiye depart every hour. There is no need to pre-book these tickets.
